Presenter: Dr. Vijay Parashar DDS, MDSc. - Professor/Oral & Maxillofacial Radiologist

Dr. Parashar, a Diplomate of American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology received DDS from University of Detroit Mercy, MDSc and Certification in Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology from University of Connecticut. He received Howard R. Raper Award from Indiana University School of Dentistry and William H. Rollins Award for Research from AAOMR. He has served as Councilor, American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology; Chair, ADEA Oral Radiology section; Chair, Pierre Fauchard Academy Arizona section. He has conducted and published basic science, translational and clinical research with ongoing emphasis on interdisciplinary imaging research. He has conducted implant planning for over 10,000 implants and interpreted over 14,000 CBCT scans. He has presented on topics of implantology, CBCT interpretation, Implant complications, Surgical guide fabrication, TMJ/Airway evaluation at various national and international dental conferences.
