Dr Francisco A. Banchs
Francisco A. Banchs graduated from the Central University of Venezuela School of Dentistry in 1997. In 2001 he was the recipient of the Jacob Freedland Scholarship Award. He was awarded a Certificate in Endodontics and a Master’s of Science degree in Oral Biology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry in the summer of 2002. In 2004 he became a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics and also completed his D.M.D. Degree at Temple University School of Dentistry. In 2005 he completed his second specialty training and obtained a Certificate in Endodontic Emergency Management at Temple University School of Dentistry.Dr. Banchs has written and collaborated in several papers in the field of dental traumatology and revascularization.
From 2002-2005 he was the Director of the Endodontic Emergency Service and Advanced Emergency Dentistry Course at Temple University School of Dentistry where he was actively involved in teaching at the graduate and undergraduate level.Dr. Banchs currently serves as Board of Trustees for the Hispanic Dental Association and is currently enjoying private practice in Philadelphia, PA and Saratoga Springs, NY.

The full-day seminar “Innovative Endodontics” will introduce the participants on how to create proper coronal and radicular access preparations, achieve accurate length control before and during instrumentation by using state of the art electronic foramen locators and to safely and effectively incorporate NiTi Rotary Instrumentation Systems into their endodontic instrumentation protocol. A new system that incorporates fiberpost technology and a new thermoplastic resin bonding material with all the properties of gutta-percha, but with vastly superior sealing abilities as a root canal filling material and with root strengthening properties will also be presented.
